The client is an established asset management provider, supporting organisations in tracking and overseeing vast fleets of physical assets. Their platform has been shaped over many years, holding enormous operational responsibility and processing large volumes of critical data. A recent brand refresh signalled a new chapter, yet the platform itself had not fully evolved to reflect that vision.

At Now Boarding Digital I translated this refreshed identity into a digital experience that felt modern, coherent and purposeful, while respecting the system’s operational depth. The platform already delivered essential value. It guided complex workflows, enabled compliance, and supported teams in making high stakes decisions every day. My role was to reveal that potential in a way that felt deliberate and human. The challenge was to create clarity and cohesion without disrupting the reliability users depended on.

From a deep understanding of the platform, a new design language emerged. Space, typography and colour were calibrated to guide attention rather than dominate it. Interfaces became lighter, more readable, and more purposeful. Tables and filters were simplified to feel meaningful. The responsive experience, previously non-existent, transformed from a distorted version of the desktop to a focused companion, built for speed and precision in the field. Every interaction was intentional, consistent and grounded in real-world use.

UX was restructured to provide clarity without diminishing complexity. Features were reorganised into logical paths that aligned with the way people think and operate. The platform became a coherent ecosystem rather than a collection of disparate screens. Complexity remained where necessary but was now readable, predictable and human-centred.

The outcome was a platform that finally felt aligned, modern and dependable. Users move through the system with confidence, supported rather than slowed. The refreshed brand now has a home across every touchpoint. The product carries the weight of its operational responsibility with calm and clarity. This was not a redesign for decoration or novelty. It was a considered transformation that honoured the past, strengthened the present, and created a foundation for growth. A platform rebuilt with intention, ready to evolve with the organisation’s ambitions.
